Scott Pelley is a popular American journalist and author who has been a correspondent and anchor for CBS News for more than 31 years. Previously he was a producer and reporter for WFAA-TV Dallas/Fort Worth (1982-89), KXAS-TV Dallas/Fort Worth (1978-81), and KSEL-TV Lubbock, Texas (1975-78). However, Scott started his journalism career at the age of 15 years as a copyboy at the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal newspaper.
