Louise Mary Grayson, popularly known as Louise Minchin is a British journalist and news presenter who works for the BBC as a freelance. Minchin has been a regular anchor on the BBC One Breakfast program since 2006 and is currently co-hosting the show with Dan Walker three days a week. He co-hosted Real Rescues with Nick Knowles and Chris Hollins from 2009 until 2012. She has presented The One Show many times since 2010.

Minchin has been worked in Argentina for a year with the Latin American section of the BBC World Service, the Today show, five and other local radio stations. In 2006 she visited the country as part of BBC News’ coverage of the World Cup in a converted bus meeting with England fans. She started working for Radio 5 Live in 1998 and married David Minchin the same year. Louise introduced many of the station’s main programs, including Drive and Breakfast.
She was a regular BBC News Channel presenter between September 2003 and April 2012, initially working alongside Jon Sopel from 7 pm to 10 pm.
